Licence
Last updated 1 August 2026
The short version. With an active plan you may sell the things you
print. You may not sell or give away the files themselves. Anything you have already
sold stays yours to have sold, even if you cancel.
What you may do
- Print items using files generated here, and sell those printed items
— online, at markets, wholesale, however you like.
- Print for yourself, for friends, and as gifts.
- Photograph and advertise what you have printed.
- Take on custom orders from your own customers and use Craft3d to fulfil them.
What you may not do
- Sell, share or give away the files. Not the STL, not the 3MF, not
the OBJ. The files are licensed to you; what you print from them is yours to sell.
- Upload the files to a model marketplace or file-sharing site.
- Share your account. One subscription is one person or one business.
- Claim the generator, or a design produced by it, as your own software.
How long it lasts
The licence is active while your subscription is. If you cancel or it lapses, you
stop being able to make new files for sale.
Anything you have already sold stays sold. Cancelling does not make
past sales infringing, and it does not oblige you to withdraw stock you have already
printed. You simply cannot produce new items for sale without a live plan.
Your photographs
Photographs you upload for a lithophane or spiral art remain entirely yours. Uploading
one grants no rights to us beyond turning it into the file you asked for. Please only
upload images you have the right to use.
Downloads bought as credits
A credit carries the same commercial licence for the file it produces, and that
licence does not expire — a credit is a purchase, not a rental.
